Description
This is a stunning example of a popular Hamburg contractor, Willi Sprengpfeil's, work. The cap is a 1938-39 SS VT visor, with the characteristic tricot body material and badgecloth cap band. The piping is white and the insignia are undisturbed feinzink Overhoff. The sweatband is leatherette and bears the Sprengpfeil trademark. This is an example of a classic Kleiderkasse contractor product, from the SS-VT period. A very desirable, rare cap in this condition. COA accompanies.
