Fine Kriegsmarine M40 Helmet

This is an excellent example of an EF64 M40 Kriegsmarine helmet, #9625, featuring the classic EF pattern KM eagle (noted by its cream colored underlay showing at the leading edge). The helmet is liner marked 57 and has the early M40 finish and smooth feldgrau rivets. The chinstrap is an unusual pigskin leather “carbine clip” style, factory maker marked. The overall condition is excellent, with only some age patina to the paint, and moderate service wear to the liner and strap. The decal is particularly nice on this one. COA accompanies.
