US Army 1899 Pattern Cork Summer Pith Helmet, Size 7

Original era manufacture. Summer helmet adopted in 1899, covered in tan cotton drill over a cork body. Overall the helmet is very sound, no cracks or damage to the cork body, a little flexible on the edge of the rear neckguard. There is a period gold wire adjustable chinstrap on the front.
