Zeiss 7x50 Kriegsmarine binoculars 'blc' + case

A scarce, completely untouched set of late-war Kriegsmarine issue Zeiss 'blc' 7x50 so-called 'gas mask ocular' binoculars as issued to both surface fleet and U-boat crews.The binoculars remain in very nice issued condition, with the fully extendableoriginalrubber gasmask eyepieces. Also the original Bakelte Benutzer ocular cover!The Zeiss 'blc' maker code and serial number are marked to the right-hand prism plate.The optics still remain usable as they stand, but could also benefit from an internal clean if desired to move some haze. The original blue lens coatings also remain intact, as shown.The original matchingKriegsmarinemarked case, produced from rubberisedErsatzmaterial, is also still present. Clearly marked with the Carl Zeiss Jena emblem, and indeed also the full leather shoulder strap that is nearly always missing from these sets usually.Overall, a simply excellent set and one which have almost certainly been together since the day they were issued!
