Heer M35 Ex DD Helmet, RARE Size 60

This is an M35 Heer helmet by SE, shell size 60, heat lot number 3487. The helmet shows extensive service use, including an initial vehicle grey overpaint that obscured the still present national shield, and went around the heer adler shield. The majority of the overpaint flaked during service, exposing the factory feldgrau paint across much of the helmet. The liner is intact and untouched, chinstrap is absent except for a fragment. Overall, a rare size combat Heer collectible. COA accompanies.
