The leaflet is in good condition and was used by the Dutch Studenten Front.The National Socialist Student Front was a student organization of the National Socialist Movement. The Student Front was founded on November 16, 1940 in The Hague by Robert van Genechten.Measurements: 22 x 14 cm.Caption:DECLARATIONWith the renewal that Europe is undergoing, our Fatherland has been directly and strongly involved since the days of May last year.The quiet struggle that had already begun years before between the old and the new has thereby been brought to greater clarity and sharpness. Now, for everyone to see, the forces of misunderstanding, self-interest, and blunt conservatism are rising against the initiated renewal of the people.In the last days of November, this struggle has also flared up at the universities and colleges. There, it led to student strikes in Delft and Leiden and influenced the spirit of students elsewhere to such an extent that a reopening of the affected institutions after the Christmas holidays cannot simply be taken for granted.These events compel the National Socialist Student Front to make a public declaration.It speaks out in favor of renewal and against conservatism. It recognizes in the manner in which conservatism manifests itself at the universities, a threat to the future of our Fatherland, a disruption and hindrance to the necessary development of our higher education, and a danger to the personal interests of the students.For these reasons, the Student Front unconditionally rejects the mentioned expressions of conservatism, and especially the strikes, and calls on fellow students to join the front, or at least to collectively resist the harmful spirit that threatens all our futures and to work together in a way that guarantees peaceful progress.Locally, further steps will be taken to achieve these goals.THE NATIONAL SOCIALIST STUDENT FRONTPerfect for the collaboration collection!
