Original WWII Russian M27 NKVD Budenovka

The budenovka is in used but fine condition and this is the so-called M27 model that was worn by the Russian NKVD during World War II.
It has two buttons on the outside and it dates from 1940.
The Budenovka (будёновка) was a distinctive type of hat, an archetypal part of the Communist military uniforms of the Russian Civil War (1917-1922) and later conflicts such as World War II.
The official name of the hat was the 'broadcloth helmet (шлем суконный).
It was named after Red Army cavalry commander Semyon Budyonny.
