Original WWII M41 KNIL helmet captured by the Japanese army

This interesting M41 'Milsco' KNIL (Royal Dutch East Indies Army) helmet is in used condition and was captured by the Japanese Army during the war, fitted with a star on the front and used by the Japanese Air Protection Service/Civil Defense force.
The helmet includes a Japanese star on the front and also has additional attachment points for another chin strap on the inside of the helmet shell.
A very rare re-issue or captured helmet for the Japanese World War II collection!

Originele WWII KNIL M41 buitgemaakte Japanse helm 
Deze M41 'Milsco' KNIL (Koninklijk Nederlandsch Indisch Leger) helm is in gebruikte conditie en werd tijdens de oorlog buitgemaakt door het Japanse leger, voorzien van een ster op de voorzijde en gebruikt door de Japanse Luchtbeschermingsdienst.
De helm bevat een Japanse ster aan de voorzijde en heeft ook extra bevestingingspunten voor nog een kinriem aan de binnenzijde van de helmschaal.
Een zeer unieke buitgemaakte helm voor de Japanse Tweede Wereldoorlog collectie!
