This very rare Danish collaboration buttonhole pin is in good condition and belonged to a member of the DFV, also known as the Dansk Folke-Værn.The 'Dansk Folke Værn' was the civilian branch of the Danish SS-Schalburg Corps that operated from April 1943 to August 1944 in support of the German occupation of Denmark. It consisted of civilians, some of whom were required to provide financial support.The formation of Dansk Folkeværn began in April 1943, when Knud Børge Martinsen was one of the first leaders of Dansk Folkeværn.
