US WWI Doughboy Ration Meatcan, Model Of 1916

Original WWI manufactured steel can which was intended to carry the US Doughboy's meat ration. Tinned steel finish. Nicely dated and maker marked lid, typical denting to the corners. This is a stock photo, markings will vary, as does the finish. The two in stock at present are very clean with most of the original tin finish remaining on the surfaces.
