German WWI S98/05 Bayonet & Scabbard, Walter & Co., Move-Werke

Original era manufacture. Standard S98/05 bayonet made by Move-Werke, Walter & Co, Muhlhausen in Thr.  Clear markings, and a crown proof on the spine. Original finish serrated wood grips, with a steel patina finish guard, flashguard and pommel. The blade surface is bright with minimal corrosion issues, the cutting edge has a thin 7 mm long nick in the edge at center. Black painted steel scabbard with heavy denting about midway down on both sides. Missing the throat screw. The blade can be inserted and drawn, but a bit tight due to the denting.
