Description
This set consists of a Wachabteilung Personalausweisbuch and an identity card forged during the war.
These belonged to a Dutch Wachtmann who was born on March 17, 1892 in Assen.
In the early stages of the war, the man in question had an identity card forged by the resistance, (Recognizable by the fact that this type of identity card from Monster was only issued from 1943) but on October 2, 1943 he became a member of the Wachabteilung in Lager Zeist.
The Wachabteilung mainly consisted of Dutch collaborators and mainly had tasks such as guarding government agencies, barracks and concentration camps.
The Wachtmann lived in Rotterdam during the Second World War and he guarded various objects during his service in the Wachabteilung.
The Wachabteilung Personalausweisbuch also contains the corresponding register sheet with information about salaries and work.
A very rare set for the collaboration or World War II collection!

De set bestaat uit een Wachabteilung Personalausweisbuch en een in de oorlog vervalst persoonsbewijs.
Deze behoorden tot een Nederlandse Wachtmann welke geboren werd op 17 maart 1892 in Assen.
In het begin stadium van de oorlog heeft de desbetreffende man een persoonsbewijs laten vervalsen door het verzet, (Te herkennen aan dat dit type persoonsbewijs van Monster werd pas vanaf 1943 uitgereikt) maar op 2 oktober 1943 werd hij toch lid van de Wachabteilung in Lager Zeist.
De Wachabteilung bestond voornamelijk uit Nederlandse collaborateurs en had voornamelijk taken zoals het bewaken van overheidsinstanties, kazernes en concentratiekampen.
De Wachtmann was woonachtig in Rotterdam ten tijde van de Tweede Wereldoorlog en hij heeft tijdens de oorlog diverse objecten bewaakt.
In de Wachabteilung personalausweisbuch zit ook nog het bijbehorende registerblad met informatie over salarissen en werk.
