Luftwaffe Single Decal M42 Combat Helmet

Luftwaffe Single Decal M42 Combat Helmet (Stahlhelm M42). The steel construction M42 helmet retains most of its rough textured, blue-gray paint and about 75% of the decal. The paint shows normal wear and scratches caused by usage. All three liner retaining rivets are intact. The interior of the helmet is a M31 leather liner with all eight fingers intact, the liner is size '59' marked. The liner is complete with its original drawstring. The shell is marked with maker and size 'ET66' which indicates production by the company 'Eisen-und Hüttenwerke, AG' in Thale/Harz. The reverse interior neck guard apron has a stamped serial number '1827'. The helmet is complete with its original leather chinstrap, the chinstrap is nicely maker marked by the company of 'Rahm & Kampmann' from Wuppertal. Nice original Luftwaffe helmet in good used condition.
