This unit were the guards of Concentration camp Amersfoort and would see action during Operation Market Garden.

De  foto is in goede conditie en daarop is  SS-Obergruppenführer Rauter en de commandant Helle van SS-Wachtbatallion III 'Nordwest' te zien tijdens een inspectie.
Deze eenheid was de bewaking van Kamp Amersfoort en zou vechten tijdens de slag om Arnhem.
