The rzm cuff title is in worn condition and was worn by a Danish volunteer in the Waffen-SS Freikorps Danmark.On June 29, 1941, the Danish unit was founded and during the Second World War about 6000 Danes served in this Waffen-SS unit.On May 8, 1942, the Freikorp Danmark saw action for the first time at the front near Demyansk and Novogrod.From August to October, the corps returned to Denmark and encountered much hostility from the civilian population.On November 13, 1942, the corps was deployed to Jelgava in Latvia.Originally it was intended for anti-partisan activities, but it was then moved to the front line.In December, the corps took part in the Battle of Velikiye Luki in heavy fighting, along with the 1st SS Infantry Brigade.In March the Freikorps Danmark was sent back to Germany and the unit was disbanded in June 1943.The troops were divided over various SS divisions, including Nordland.Length cuff title: 37,5 cm.Possibly one of the rarest SS volunteer cuff titles out there!Article number: 7231
