Description
The SS Wehrpass is in a used condition and belonged to a Flemish volunteer in the SS-Freiwilligen Legion Flandern.The Fleming came from Diksmuide and eventually achieved the rank of SS-Rottenführer in 1944.He enlisted on March 19, 1942 in Antwerp for the SS Flemish volunteer legion.Three months later he fought on the Eastern Front at Mal-Zamoshye, Wolchow kessel, Ossiya, Starapanowo.In 1943 he fought with Kolpino, Kranoye-Selo, Federowskoye, Shitomir and ended up in the SS-Freiwilligen Sturmbrigade Langemarck.He received the Infanterie Sturmabzeichen and the Iron Cross 2nd Class.Pages 27 to 30 are loose but otherwise the SS Wehrpass is still complete.A very rare Flemish SS Wehrpass for the collaboration or Second World War collection!Article number: 7021
