Original era manufacture. Standard WWII German Army Officers sword with a lion headed pommel and red glass eyes. The chrome finished steel blade measures 32 inches in length, runs straight and true, with no issues to the blade surface, beyond some typical light scattered surface staining.Ornate, brass guard and lionhead pommel with red glass eyes, toned brass patina finish at present. Black plastic wrapped grip, which is bound with triple strand wire.Black painted steel scabbard which is fairly dent-free, and displays a period over paint which is flaking in areas.
