Original WWII Russian PPSH-41 pouch

The pouch is in an used but fine condition.
These pouches used to contain the round magazine for the PPSH-41.
We couldn't find a clear date on the marking but if we look how it was made it was probably made around 1943.
The pouch has two loops on the back and a small buckle with a leather strap on the front.
An interesting characteristics of 1943 production pouches is that they had a colored ink marking on the inside like this example, mostly in red or orange.
These pouches were not only worn by soldiers of the Red Army, but a lot of them were also captured by German soldiers because the Russian PPSH-41 machine pistol was very populair.

Het tasje is in een gebruikte maar prima staat.
In deze tasjes zaten de trommelmagazijnen voor de PPSH-41.
Gezien de constructie van de stiksels en het materiaal is deze vermoedelijk rond 1943 geproduceerd.
De tas heeft twee canvas lussen aan de achterzijde en een gesp met leren riempje aan de voorzijde.
Een interessant kenmerk van de tassen die omstreeks 1943 geproduceerd werden is dat ze vaak een gekleurde markering aan de binnenzijde hadden, vaak een rode of oranje stempel zoals dit exemplaar.
Dit soort tasjes werden niet alleen door Russische soldaten gedragen maar werden ook vaak buitgemaakt door Duitse soldaten omdat de PPSH-41 erg populair was.
